Rima holds a M.S. in Nutrition from Arizona State University and a B.A. in Communications. Rima is a licensed and registered dietitian and nutritionist with Certificates of Training in Food Allergies, Integrative and Functional Nutrition and Adult Weight Management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and food sensitivity training as a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT).
Prior to starting Smart Mouth Nutrition, Rima taught nutrition classes to budding chefs at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and created nutrition programming for Kaiser Permanente Colorado. She is currently a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Women’s Health, Food & Culinary Nutrition, Nutrition Entrepreneurs and Dietitians in Business Communications dietetic practice groups.
